1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Khuli Kitab (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Your content
You own your content. Everything you create or upload - sketches, illustrations, text, books, and other materials - remains yours.
To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and the collaborators you choose (for example, syncing projects, generating exports, and enabling sharing). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained as required by law or for routine backups.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
- Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or abusive material.
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
6. Collaboration & sharing
When you invite collaborators or make a project public, you are responsible for who you grant access to and what they can do. Project owners may add or remove collaborators and change their roles at any time.
7. Billing, subscriptions & refunds
Khuli Kitab offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan (billed monthly or annually), plus a one-time Book Pass. Current prices are shown on our Pricing page and are charged in the currency displayed there, inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details. By subscribing, you authorize us and Razorpay to charge your selected payment method.
Auto-renewal & cancellation
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; your Pro access then continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling does not delete your account or your content.
Free trial
We may offer a 14-day Pro trial without requiring a card, limited to one per account. If you do not upgrade, your account simply returns to the free plan when the trial ends.
Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current period - you keep Pro access until it ends. A Book Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks print-ready export for a single project for 7 days and is non-refundable once the purchase is complete.
What happens if you downgrade
We never delete your work when you move to the free plan. Your three most recently created boards remain fully editable; any additional boards become read-only, and you can still export any board at any time. Upgrading again restores full access.
Price changes
We may change our prices or plans. If a change affects your subscription, we will give you reasonable notice before it applies to your next renewal, and you may cancel if you do not agree.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties such as Supabase and Google Drive. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service itself - including its software, design, branding, and the Khuli Kitab name - is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or its users.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of important work.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khuli Kitab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
